Hello parents and 4th graders,
I am excited to be your teacher! This will be my third year in TUSD and my second year at Fruchthendler. I am so grateful to be a part of the wonderful Fruchthendler community! I have lived in six different states in the U.S. and have lived in Tucson for nine years. I went to the University of Arizona to get my bachelor's degree in elementary education...go wildcats! I started working at an elementary school when I was in high school and I've wanted to be a teacher ever since. I believe that every single student can be successful and deserves a great education! When I am not teaching I enjoy cooking, reading, and traveling. I have traveled around the world and some of my favorite places to visit are Argentina, San Fransisco, and the Cayman Islands! This summer, I visited Iceland and Washington D.C. with my little sister and we had tons of fun hiking glaciers and visiting waterfalls! I also love to visit my parents and sister in Asheville, North Carolina. In Arizona, I can often be found hiking on Mt. Lemmon, practicing yoga, and visiting the farmer's market! I am thrilled to get to know you better, it's going to be a fantastic year full of learning! --Ms. Fouts |
