Reading Homework will be assigned nightly Monday-Thursday from the Core Knowledge Language Arts curriculum. Students will be assigned various projects throughout the year and when projects are assigned (including the Science Fair) the project takes the place of reading homework. All 3-5 students are required to participate in the science fair.
Planners must be signed by a parent or guardian Monday-Thursday
*Homework is intended to take about 1 hour each night Monday-Thursday

Parents and guardians (or even brothers/sisters/grandparents) are encouraged to respond to the letters, to cheer them on, and strengthen communication between school and home.
